Tenho uma estante nova no meu quarto. E não é uma estante qualquer: ela cobre uma parede inteira do quarto. O que significa que muito em breve eu vou estar a dormir numa divisória que mais se parece com uma biblioteca do que com um quarto, mas pouca coisa me deixa mais feliz do que estar rodeada de conhecimento. Além da crescente colecção de livros que eu já tenho, no mês passado fiz uma encomenda para alguns dos livros que andavam na minha wishlist.

When I need new socks/tights/slippers there’s only one place I go to and that is Primark.
They keep the widest variety, from ankle to knee high, from summery to wintery socks. I usually get ankle socks in both white and black to wear with sneakers, mid length socks in fun colors and patterns to wear with boots, cosy socks (the best!) for when I’m at home and a pair of warm slippers that feel like heaven.

Going to Zara and finding good sales requires a lot of skills (combined with luck) and a few miracles. Luckily, this time I went I was able to find three things I really like with nice discounts: a sweatshirt, a dress and a playsuit. Ler Mais

Numa passagem rápida à The Body Shop trouxe uma esponja (3€) para substituir a minha que já estava miserável e mais dois produtos que queria experimentar: o hidratante de baunilha (12,50€) e o desinfectante de mãos com aroma a coco (5€). Encomendei recentemente este lip stain da Revlon (9€) online e considero-o uma excelente alternativa ao Chubby Stick da Clinique. No continente, comprei o lip lacquer da Rimmel (8,39€) e um sabonete novo da Nivea (0,79€).

On a recent trip to The Body Shop I bought a bath lily (3€) to substitute my old one and two other products I’ve had my eye on for a while: the vanilla flower body lotion (12,50€) and the coconut hand cleansing gel (5€). I order online this Revlon lip stain (9€) and find it a great alternative for the Clinique’s Chubby Stick. In the supermarket I bought Rimmel’s lip lacquer (8,39€) and a new Nivea soap (0,79€).

Pode parecer cliché, mas para mim o ano começa efectivamente em Setembro. Não sei se é por ainda estar a estudar, mas aquela sensação que a maior parte das pessoas têm na passagem de ano, eu tenho no início das aulas.
É o começo de um novo ano cheio de coisas novas, amigos novos, novas experiências e… o melhor de tudo: material escolar novo! E o facto de andar na universidade não muda em nada o meu entusiasmo doentio ao entrar numa papelaria ou numa seção de material escolar. 
Este post é um bocado tardio para quem está no ensino básico/secundário, visto que as aulas começam esta semana, mas para quem anda na faculdade ainda vou bem a tempo :) 
It may seem cliché, but for me the year actually begins in September. Don’t know if it’s because I’m still in college, but the feeling that most people have in the new year, I have in the beginning of the school year.
It is the beginning of a year full of new things, new friends, new experiences and … best of all: new school supplies! And the fact that I go to the university doesn’t change my crazy enthusiasm when I walk in a stationary or a hall of school supplies.
This post is coming out a bit late for those still in primary/high school, since classes start this week, but for those in college I’m still on time :)

O iPad, ou qualquer outro tablet, é uma espécie de melhor-amigo-companheiro-de-estudo. Obviamente não é um material necessário para um estudante, mas dá imenso jeito. Nele eu tenho vários livros e PDFs, trabalhos e aplicações que tornam o meu estudo muito mais organizado. (post sobre isso mais tarde!)
O que acham desta série ”Back to school”? Tenho alguns tópicos para falar e se tiverem alguma sugestão é só deixar nos comentários :)

The iPad or any other tablet, is kind of a best-friend-study-buddy. Obviously it’s not a needed supply for a student, but it sure is a great help. On my iPad I have several books and PDFs, paper works and apps that make my study much more organized. (post on that later!)
