One of my favorite things about my family is how spontaneous we can be.
This sunday we woke up feeling a bit more adventurous and decided not to go on our typical sunday lunch in Sintra, so we took the car, my uncle and grannie and drove all the way to Alentejo. We didn’t have a specific destiny, we just wanted to enjoy a beautiful day and hoped to find a great local restaurant. We started by paying a visit to Quinta São José de Peramanca, which has a wide green space where they keep their horses and also make vine plantations. We got back on the road and after asking a few locals, we came to the conclusion that ”Fialho” was the best place to have lunch. It is an award winning restaurant typical from Alentejo, where you can eat the best food the country has to offer. It is in Évora city and well worth the trip.

1 – Winter calls for hot drinks by the fire, a good book and a great quality candle that makes your room feel cozy. I’ve been buying Dyptique candles lately and really love them, but was killing time at the mall the other day and discovered a Jo Malone London corner. Of course I went smelling every single scent, whether it was a candle or a perfume, and fell in love. I’d like to have every single Jo Malone London candle, but really like this one for this time of the year.
